It doesn't like nylon brushes

Thought i'd take some time and get some sealant on my wheels today, so took each one off individually washed, then sprayed with Iron-X and agitated with a brush and wondered what the smell of burning was !



It was the Iron-X eating away at the brush

Must say other than that it's the first time i've used it and it seems to work well.

so does it say "wear gloves when applying"? hope it didn't eat away at them too

Nope, no gloves but it did bleed well on my dirty wheels !

With the OE wheels having a polished face I would be very wary of using any strong acidic or alkali products anywhere near them

But there is lacquer over the top of the diamond cut parts.

The iron-x was fine on the lacquer and tyres. Now I have some sealant on the wheels they should be a little protected for the coming winter and salty roads.
