A lot of people have been saying that the tyres are a bit on the skinny side, are they referring to the width of the tyres? If so, is 215 skinny? I've never heard anyone saying that the 215/45R17 tyres on a Clio 200 were too skinny?

Its pretty skinny for this type of car, especially a RWD, but its not a huge difference and is clearly to the cars benefit judging from most reviews.

personally i cant say ive ever noticed a difference in tyre width. I went from 245 on a focus RS to 215 on a clio 200 and couldnt tell the difference.

Although the fatter ones looked better from behind the car :)

You notice the difference in your wallet when you go to replace tyres that are wide.

My last car had 285 x 19" tyres, at about £220 per corner.

At least with Prius wheels, they should he cheap.
