I always liked these so I thought I'd try one

1.used Bannersnack to produce the image
2. saved as gif and download to my pc
3. uploaded to photobucket
4. used bb code to link the image in my signature

Meh. Not my thing and if there were an option to disable them I'd tick the box.Sigs may be useful to inform/update fellow posters but when there are already picture avatars it's just too much going on for me. It only takes a few to go silly and it makes the topics difficult to read.

I don't object as long as size is restricted. I've been on other forums before and people seem to have pics of bunnies on their sigs taking up half the page. That's not what you want!

I admit, I'm not a fan myself. I limit people to the equivalent of three lines of text on the forum/club I run.

Nothing against an amusing gif per se, but it tends to get out of hand quickly.
