Hi Charlie,

Do PF have a comparable pad to a Ferodo DS2500?

Yes we do,
we have our Z-Rated .10 compound pads.

Compound
description-

Z-Rated .10/.11 compound

This compound has been designed
for fast road / trackday applications. It gives more stopping power and
increased fade resistance over the OE materials but retains the good qualities
of the road pad i.e., low dusting and noise along with low wear rate.

.High performance compound, gained
through competition pad developments

.Compound designed for low
dusting qualities

.Several built in noise
suppression technologies

.Excellent disc conditioning, giving
even transfer layer on disc to reduce uneven pad deposits.

For the GT86 with the
club discount these are currently available at the very competitive introductory
price of £46.45 (including Tax)
Regards,Charlie

Thanks Charlie. Do you have a Coefficient graph for those pads?

No sorry as
a rule we don’t supply any friction coefficient data because it’s very dependent
on test conditions and can be misleading.

Our Z-Rated
pad is similar to the DS2500 though. And we have also designed the pads so they are also easy to live with for everyday use with very
low dust, noise and excellent disc conditioning properties.

Thanks for above, they don't list a rear pad that matches would people just run OEM rears with these on front for track/road use.

There isn't a rear pad in their normal compound, they don't do any pads for the Legacy GT. I've got Cosworth rears to go on and was advised that they'd be well matched. On that basis, any of the fast road/occasional track pads would work fine. I don't see why standard rear pads wouldn't work ok for a road based car, they just would fall away quicker on track.

Morning!

Yep, PFC 'Performance Friction' pads are still available, and we will still offer 10% discount to Toyota GT86 Owners Club Members.

I have a GT86 and I run PFC Z-rated in the front and have a premium OEM pad in the rear, as we don't currently offer a Z-rated rear compound. Usage - i drive the car daily, i haven't tracked the car, but like to have the performance there when i need it.

Please don't hesitate to contact us, if you have any questions :)
