The names Louis, just joined up with the link from a good friend Ben @ RareRims. We have been discussing wheel options for the GT86/BRZ, and as a Toyota Salesman im quite interested.



Thought I would join up too, any help that people want, ill do my best to answer any questions regarding the car itself, or finance offers etc, not pushing for business for myself, but would be nice to help budding GT owners get into theirs!

Driven both. Auto only for a short distance, manual round Donnington Circuit. Both lovely cars, the auto is very smooth, but the manual is more me!

Is there any way i can get my passenger door
to unlock when i unlock/open my drivers door.

At the moment i have to walk up to my door,
Open it, get in and then press the internal unlock
button to unlock the passenger door for my friends.

On my Zed it's bip the bipper twice.

Surely, like other Toyotas and Lexus, if you unlock the drivers door via the keyless method all other doors open too? Maybe someone who has a GT can confirm that's the case. It doesn't sound right that you have to manually open the other doors after you've opened the drivers door.

n they said they would b able to do a software
Alteration to fix the issue. It happens on
All GT's but if they can sort it out ill let u no

To confirm (I've just proved it) if you unlock your car the keyless way, ie by grabbing the handle then both doors open. The boot remains shut. If you plip the 'key' once then only the drivers door opens. Plip twice and both doors open but why do it that way when the keyless method opens both doors just by grabbing the handle.

If your cars don't work like the above then your dealer needs to adjust the settings assuming you can't do it yourself from inside the car like I can with my Lexus.

Boot opening is via the plipper or the button inside the car.

Yes, both doors unlock when you grab the drivers door handle. If they don't get your dealer to adjust the settings.

It shows album art work when mp3/iphone
is plugged in
