Worth remembering that the pound, euro & US$ have devalued by around 50% against the Japanese yen since 2007. Sadly that's the situation. It's not the supply from Japan that's expensive, it's devaluation of currency that causes the pricing. Japanese goods are supplied in Japan primarily for domestic customers.

The best quality products for the GT86 will usually be made in Japan though.Edited by: Newera

No, you're right mate, but it's purley down to the strength of the Yen. The best one I've seen so far is an American brand one, but you're still looking at £200+ for a decent one....
