Hi guys,
Got a letter about fuel pump replacement for a 2018 car.
Spoke to Isleworth Curries Toyota and they said they need the car for 5 days.
Had anyone else had the recall and how long did it take. Dont really want to leave the car with them for 5 days.
Thank you.

I was told it would take a few days but the dealer did it in a day. It was the first one they had done and thought they may have needed a special tool but in the end managed without. All good,

That is purely a lack of organisation from your local dealer, either resource, parts or tools availability. Of course it doesn't takes 5 days its just convenient to have your car for a week to fit it in somewhere at some point. I would push out the work and agree to a single day, give them time to get organised.

Car done, took a couple of hours today and had a call to collect by 1pm.

I took the rear seats out so they couldn't mark or spill anything on the one they would be likely to leave in to save time, unlikely I know but its a 2 min job to remove them.
