This might be of interest..

I was having a chat with my dealer who said that his particular dealership had sold about 22-23 GT86's.

Now going by the order forum thread on here, there's only 3 members listed as using this dealership.

I wonder if 10-15% is the average of forum members vs actual vehicles sold?

.. and how do we improve the conversion rate?

Get the dealers to read and support the site.

They will learn more about the product that way
andthen recommend to other owners...

Reckon this proportion is about right for regular forum members.

Perhaps more important will be the number of people who hit this site vs Toyota UK's, looking for info on the car.

Pulling figures out of thin air, I'd agree it's probably not wrong!

Many people aren't interested in/scared of the 'owners club' type set. Or they only use the interweb for Twatter and don't look for 86-info until it goes wrong or something.

Others bought it and aren't really 'car' people. Seems hard to conceive, but...

I'm afraid that ur dealer is exaggerating somewhat on how many GT's him & his colleagues has sold as there's a limit on how many cars each dealership is allowed.

This will be in the region of 12-15 units for this year!!

Perhaps the chap meant across his dealer group, not just that location.

Dealers could hand out the web-site address with the car welcome pack. Lol - not sure how we persuade them to do that. Perhaps blackmail re. "completely satisfied" survey results
