I have always had my personal number plate made with the car model and brand badge on the side, such as my current car has the honda logo and type R to the left of the reg number.

However having trouble finding anyone offering to make up plates with the GT86 logo available for this as yet

Anybody know who and where please, any traders on here that are planning on doing plates with the logo, especially if we could get one with the piston heads on it with GT86 under it

Thanks

For show use? Wouldn't be road legal.

I think most places would be able to print an image if you email them one.

I have extracted the important bit for you DoogleDog. I have highlighted the phrase that says your Honda R symbols are not allowed. Manufacturers will say anything to sell something to a punter....

<div ="sub">
<h3>National flags and identifiers</h3>

Motorists in England, Scotland and Wales have the option to
display the Union Flag, Cross of St George, Cross of St Andrew (also
known as the Saltire) or Red Dragon of Wales together with one of the
following identifiers: GREAT BRITAIN, Great Britain, GB, UNITED KINGDOM,
United Kingdom, UK, CYMRU, Cymru, CYM, Cym, ENGLAND, England, ENG, Eng,
SCOTLAND, Scotland, SCO, Sco, WALES or Wales. This must be displayedon
the left hand side of the number plate. No other symbols or flags can
be displayed on number plates.
</font>

The flag must be positioned above
the identifier and neither must be more than 50 millimetres wide oron
the number platemargin.

Motorists displaying national flags and
identifiers will still be required to display the standard GB sticker
when travelling in Europe.

All I can say is 'be prepared' for a stop by a wooden tot in his jam sandwich.

I have had road runner image on left of number plate for 5 years now and had 5 mot,s and passed them all no problem
Also been pulled over by police and never had an issue with plates either so I think it depends on what the image is really
Keep it clean and you will be ok...in the uk I may add only...

The law is the law and if you get an arsey cop who has enough knowledge they can make things awkward for you. I know of somebody who was given a ticket for having the TRD logo on his number plates in a similar fashion to that Type r one above.
