Hello all,

A little birdie PM'd us and asked that we join this new forum, so I just have.

I am a confirmed '86 nut, but of the older generation... Recently sold my mad full race tuned AE86 to an equally mad customer in the UK, because I'm at the finishing stages of putting together a wilder fully seam welded lighweight full N2 / hillclimb spec race car, but I won't bore you guys with the details just now.

Too hot in Japan to work on it during my spare time right now, so it's wrapped up & covered till October...

Having a 15 + year presence in Japan and long time connections / friendships with some of the original AE86 tuners (Who are now moving into FT86 tuning & racing
) we will be able to supply all sorts of new performance & cosmetic parts direct to members here who want to make their cars special with authentic JDM parts. That includes stuff like RAYS wheels, etc. but we also have containers coming to the UK each month, so can send larger stuff like body kits all at low carriage cost.

Personally, I'd like to see the FT86 become as iconic as the original AE86, if not more.
Toyota put a lot of effort into making this car, against the odds in a very downward market so I'd like to see their gamble proven to be a successful formula.

As for getting one myself, perhaps in a few years. Trouble is it's not really a family car and 4 into an FT86 won't go very well) and I have too much invested in the current AE86 (Haven't even driven it yet!) to consider replacing it.
Instead, we'll take pleasure in helping those of you who want our assistance in making your FT86 wild.

I'm Miguel, based in Japan near Tokyo, Matty is in Essex, UK.

Welcome Miguel/Matty look forward to seeing what offers/deals you can get for us. So far stuff in the UK is pretty limited to TRD equipment.

Second this. I live in Essex as well so shouldn't pose a problem picking some of this up!

It's not really realistic to list every product as you can imagine!

Everything that's available in Japan for the BRZ or GT86 is available through Newera; where it's a large oversized item, our shipping rates are also unbeatable. As most of our business volume is via direct contact with customers, it's best to either drop us a PM detailing what you're after, or send us an inquiry form via www.neweraparts.com - that's how to get thefastest response, usually. :)

how can we tell you what we are after if we do not know what is available?

Searching on Yahoo.co.jp for "Toyota FT86" or "Subaru BRZ" using Google Translateis a good place to start as any. You'll soon start to find parts you didn't know existed....
But beware of temptation. In Japan there's no cheap & nasty imitation! :D

Adding (Google translated to Japanese) words such as "Aero", "Muffler"or "Tower Bar" to your search using say Google Chrome with Auto translation of Japanes sites will give lots of interesting info.Chargespeed & C-West are also busy making special body parts and RAYS, Enkei, Advan, etc. all have designs available to suit the FT86.

Remember that the FT86 / BRZ hasn't been out in Japan for long yet, so some tuning specialists are still developing new parts. Once there are enough upgrade parts available & specialists have developed demo cars, we expect the first volume of Hyper Revs for the FT86 will come out. Then it'll be possible to obtain a catalogue with most of the current goods available in Japan. When that catalogue comes out we'll be able to supply it to existing customers, etc.
