After a visit to my local dealer to have my maps updated I asked if they could turn the auto lock feature on in the car so when I drove the car automatically locked its self.

They thought it was possible and tried everything to get it working but couldn't!


They tried on a manual car and had no problems as they explained the auto lock occurs when the driver uses the clutch pedal, but on the three Auto's they tried it on they simply couldn't get it working!


Anyone else with an auto had any joy with this?

Unless you have the relevant cable and software to plug your laptop into the car then it has to be set by a dealership/service centre.
