Are there many others with Automatics? I am finding my knee on my left leg is not sitting to comfortably on the knee rest? anyone else finding this?

I don't think there's any difference in driving 'position' between the auto and manual? I'm a lardy 6'1" and my left knee is getting a bit sore as my knee cap catches the edge of the knee pad. Not much I can do about that other than shorten my leg! (or add additional padding)..

Hi. I have the auto. Am only 5' 9" and drove 300 miles comfortably yesterday.

Its not a hight thing. I am only 5.9 my self. Its just where my knee sits against the knee pad. Its just not as thick as it should be.

The only reason i thought it was a bit different on the auto's is that we dont really move our left leg, so its always resting against the knee pad.

Try moving your seat back a couple of centimetres or three. Might be anough to just change your leg's position to stop the discomfort.
