Hello all,
l'm currently using an AE86 as a road rally / Targa rally car and have recently purchased a 200hp (on carbs) 4age for it. I expect it to be more than competitive.
Problem is.... l'm sick of trying to get bits for the car and having to keep everything even if l'll probably never use it!
An AE86 is a once in a lifetime car for me and l wonder if anyone can help?
Has anyone gone from an AE to a GT and regretted it? Thanks

Sorry, can't say I've ever driven a classic Hachiroku.
The prices on these has gone nuts, for what it is it shouldn't cost so much, but then you could say that about all cars nowadays. Must be the chip shortage.

I quite like my GT86 stock boxer engine. It's fun to drive, may not be the fastest thing on the road but it looks amazing.

Sounds like an easy question. On the plus side the GT is better and low maintenance, on the negative side you get rid of the once-in a lifetime car. If the question is about practical the GT wins.
Not sure about the performance. May depend on the amount of tweaks and what you want to compare with. GT drives in another rally category (the rally version is the CS-R3 with 235 bhp and a different gearbox/final drive)
