GT86 2017 Long-run Issues

Hello everyone,

I am planning to buy GT86, build of 01/2017 with 31000miles on the clock.
Before I proceed I would like to ask if there any known major issues I have to be aware of.
I am thinking like the valves' springs engine issues on the 2012-2013 models.

Can anyone advise.
Thank you

No valve spring issues ...

My 2017 BRZ (MY17 model) is on 31,000-'ish and apart from needing a new battery (warranty) it's been fine. New 60ah battery has been fine too but mine's garaged and I'm not locking it during long periods of no use.

I found out that there is oil leak coming from the timing chain plate. The silicon sealant needs to be replaced now.
So I am thinking of not buying the car now.
