Diamond Car Mats

Has anyone got these mats?

https://www.diamondcarmats.com/produ...-car-mats-set/

They look the part, a bit expensive but considering what you pay for Toyota OEM mats there isn't too much of a difference! I am just wondering if they are worth it?

Yeah, not for me.
A silly money
B looks a bit like the sort of thing a 50 year old bloke would put in his Peugeot RCZ.

An old silver Toyota. Valenti rear lights, Milltek cat back, Tein Flex Z coilovers.

Actually I'm having second thoughts myself. I found this picture on another forum, if you are paying £160 and the mats do not even fit perfectly I think it's probably not a wise buy.

Any idea where sells decent car mats for a decent price lincsiain?

I spoke to Jamie Barke at Bespoke Car Mats and I was really happy with the cut and finish of mine. They're bespoke in the sense that they are precision laser cut to match the contours of our floors but not like that one above.

Last time I spoke to him they had the rubberised one (the set I have now) but also a 650g velour, then a 'luxury' one with 1600g velour which at the time I purchased, they were still in development. They probably have more available now though.

There's an OEM set for sale in the classifieds for £50 if you're interested.

I haven't bought car mats in about 20 years. Sorry.

I did see them but I think they will be just as susceptible to the drivers side going at the heel (as there is no heel pad ), the Toyota oems don't appear to be great quality so would like to replace them with something aftermarket.

lincsiain: and i keep buying deep rubber mats for every car i have. So much easier to wash them and keep inevitable depending on weather dirt/snow/water out of interior vs stock carpet mats. And as i never drive without some shoes or boots on, i see nothing to gain from softer carpet ones. Only exception for this car, due rear seats almost never used, bought weathertech mats just for front seats.

I'll be honest. They just look cheap and tacky.

They don't look premium to me, they say "try hard" and "lame".

I don't know why... they just do. It's something I look at and go... nope.

But its entirely personal, I'm sure they do a good job of protecting but... I personally feel they look like **** and cheapen your car. OEM mats >

Garage
I bought a second hand Audi A4 estate last year (for running the dogs around, fishing and general run around), it came with these mats fitted although I didn't know what make they were until I saw your picture.

I thought they looked horrid, didn't fit that well and made the floor space look and feel smaller, they are now up in the garage loft.

So in response to post 2 'looks a bit like the sort of thing a 50 year old bloke would put in his Peugeot RCZ', nope, they're the sort of thing a 55 year old bloke rips out of an Audi estate.
