Tow Bar Tidiness

Hey Guys

So when I removed the front tow bar cap, there was polystyrene visible and it looked untidy.

So man made a hole, and then there was tidiness.

Easy peasy.

That is indeed tidy! Good job. I, however, would never be confident enough to let a drill go anywhere near my car or its plastic bits though

Hahahahah I wouldn't do much else but I figured i could replace the cap for a few quid if it went terribly.

Great work! I've been meaning to do this for a while as it's always bugged me on track days.

I've struggled to find a replacement, not without going to the dealer at least. I'm close to 3D printing one but it's quite a complex shape :s

But....now it's untidy most of the time when you're not at a track day, surely?
As you have a hole in the bumper?

A tow hook is for life, not just for track days.

Tow hook imho makes more sense if it's like raceseng's, with gopro mount. Otherwise, not sure 100% if it's street legal to drive with it around, after all, regs of safety for pedestrians, no? If later is the case, maybe worth consider tow strap instead .. if nothing else, also in similar fashion, with cutout it cap, for tidier looks.

100% agreed Church! It will be a nightmare if it was involved in a frontal crash , even a none fault claim especially if not clarified with insurers before hand

Agree with church and Amrano. Definitely not for the road for pedestrian safety. Sorry to say but its a mod for the sake of a mod.
