Been a while since I have updated here. The one of the indicators failed on the VLANDs so I replaced them with their V2 lights as these are my preferred design. My Valenti side markers also flooded on one side so replaced these with a set that I could only find on eBay but suit the lines of the car quite well.

On a side note, I think it's time after 8 years to look at moving on. Starting to get the urge for something different and ideally more doors, or possibly my last throw at a 2 seater with an 6+ cylinder engine rather than an electric motor. If anyone has any interest in the car (or parts) then let me know.

If I do decide to strip the mods off, someone has called the MCB already - but will keep you in mind in case that falls through.

Parts have started to come back off the car now and have found new homes - others are waiting for another 86 to be fitted to and the car itself is now looking for a new home once I get it back from the recall. I can't recommend the guys at Yeoman's Eastbourne enough. All booked in quickly without question and their Master Tech comes well recommended by a close friend who worked for Toyota, as well as 2 other boosted members.

Can't believe I've had the car for over 8 years now....... It's only about that again before we can't buy a pure petrol car again which just seems crazy!

So, one last clean ready for the new owner this week - back onto original plates and looks odd with the plate holder back on.

Looking good Steve. Is the car staying local?

Black GT86 owned 7+ years and modified with Cosworth exhaust, brakes, supercharger and map. Also, Eibach Pro springs, OZ alloys, fast road geo, various cosmetics inc TRD spoiler, shark fin, Intec brake light, Valentis.

No, it's going across the Irish Sea. Although the sale is currently delayed as the UK is currently on a travel ban since the weekend so he can't get it home.

Just a matter of time! If the new owner wants an SCd car , its not that there is lot of choice around and that too a clean, well kept example.

I wish. There is now VAT of 21% on UK car imports, so that killed the sale off. Buyer refunded and now looking for a new buyer!

Really sad. Brexit has then not turned out positive for everyone. Good luck with the sale.
