This is all happening too soon! I need more details of the replacement to know if I should buy one of last 86s. Currently, I could happily do without most of the 'upgrades' the new model is rumoured to have.

It really is happening too soon - I've just looked on the Toyota UK website, and the only colours that can be ordered are red, black and white!

And there seems to be no final edition / swansong edition unfortunately. I wish there was.

It's a sad day. I too thought they would have continued production of the GT86 for at least a year or two into the launch of the GR86. (I wonder if the pandemic has something to do with the early halt on production?). At least, looking on the bright side, we will have plenty of used GT86's kicking around for quite some time.

Not even that many GT86 around. I've been seeing a lot of Peugeot RCZ around here lately but GT86 have always been sparse.

Hakone did not come to the UK , EU. It was US only, AFAIK.
