South coast newbie
Hi everyone, today picked up my latest purchase to sit on the drive, having had celicas, rx8, 350z, mx5 nd, golf R, I have scratched an itch that has been lingering since i saw GT86 at goodwood fos in 2012.
I have had Golf R for last 10 months and although its fast, it was "well Boring, its a golf" so far i driven 50 miles and im impressed, so much like the rx8 in driving and feel, got to get used to the high reving to get the most from it, but really feels very sure footed,
Being of a more mature age i got some odd looks today :P, but hey sod em.
I also run a south coast car club with 4 others and we are active around south coast having close links with Thruxton and Beaulieu, and club displays since 2011. Had good look through forum and what people have done and some ideas are being considered, always good to belong to owners forum and gleen info for future.
looking forward to participating and hopefully contributing as time goes on.
